Experimental protocol: Investigate the malaria vaccine
By following this protocol, you can take part in research to develop a vaccine against malaria that, when combined with current measures, could significantly improve the control of this major parasitic disease. You will test several potential vaccines using a technique called ELISA and decide which is the most effective.
This experimental protocol is the ideal opportunity for you to reproduce an experiment exactly how it is done at research centres. You can do it at one of the research centres and museums that Xplore Health collaborates with. You will find the list of available institutions in the activities section. You can also do the experiment in class by buying the reagents and instruments or a kit developed by a company (Xplore Health is not responsible for xxxxxx).
