1- Do you think the Xplore Health portal is a good tool to promote IBSE?

Absolutely. I think that the contents on this portal are so close to issues affecting students or their immediate environment that it is easy to raise inquiry-based activities, as they facilitate the motivation of the students to start “doing” and being active.

Students at the A Sardiñeira High School visited the Open Lab of the science museum Domus, in La Coruña, where Xplore Health experiments are being conducted. The students could participate with teachers and scientists, in the synthesis of a drug that is being studied as a possible treatment for Parkinson's disease. Once the experiment finished the students analyzed the resulting product of their work.
