Jeu pour engager le dialogue | Vaccines, key tools for prevention

Vaccines help to save the lives of 2.5 million children every year. They are one of the most useful and cost-effective public health measures. However, there are groups that refuse to get vaccinated for different reasons. This not only exposes them to serious health risks, it also jeopardises other people who can’t get vaccinated. When the number of vaccinated people in a population drops, some infectious diseases can reappear, as happened with diphtheria in Spain in 2015. Should people have full freedom to choose? Should vaccinations be required?
Use this dialogue game from Play Decide to have a simple and factual debate on some of the controversial aspects surrounding vaccinations. It’s a debating game designed to be played in groups of 4 to 8 people for a minimum of 60 to 90 minutes.
