The National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN) in Madrid joins the network of research centers and science museums that offer workshops of experiments contextualized in current research projects, which are described in Xplore Health’s protocols. The clusters also organize training for teachers and coordinate the Xplore Health’s network of pilot schools.
This new initiative is promoted with the collaboration of the Amgen Foundation allowing face-to-face activities of XploreHealth to be present in Andalusia (Parque de las Ciencias de Granada), Aragon (CaixaForum Zaragoza), Catalonia (CosmoCaixa and CaixaForums, Parc Científic de Barcelona and IrsiCaixa), Galicia (Domus) and Madrid (MNCN). More than 25,000 students annually participate in hands-on workshops of experiments offered by the project.
